Privacy policy

Cadastre collects nothing.

Effective November 4, 2026

Cadastre is a disk space map and app uninstaller for the Mac, made by Nanostack. This policy explains what Cadastre does with information.

What Cadastre collects

Nothing. Cadastre has no account, no analytics and no servers. It doesn't collect, send, share or sell personal information, and it makes no network connections.

What stays on your Mac

To map your disk, Cadastre reads the names and sizes of files in the disks and folders you choose. It keeps your settings, the folders you added to Caches and recent scans only on your Mac. Deleting Cadastre deletes them.

Removing files

Cadastre moves only what you confirm to the Trash. For apps that belong to the system, it asks the Finder to move them, and the Finder asks for your password.

Command-line tool

If you turn on Command-Line Access, programs on your Mac can ask Cadastre what it shows. Anything they ask to remove waits for your click.

Purchases

Purchases go through the App Store. We receive no payment details.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts.

Children

Cadastre isn't directed at children and collects no information from anyone.

Changes

We'll post any change on this page with a new effective date.
